Lafayette Elementary Field Day 2023 was a fantastical all-day event! There were obstacle courses, sack races, tug-o-war, and parachutes games. The dance party hosted by DJ Mike was lit! The courtyard was filled with mini games like scoop and bean bag toss, leg skip and jump rope challenges, partner stick dash, and the classic hula hoop.
Then there was an incredible inflatable slide with stairs that split into two and the temporary tattoo station with cool popsicle treats from our awesome LES PTA and parent volunteers (thank you). The main attraction for most students was the Dunk-a-Teacher tank. The adults got a sudden splash, and the children got a good laugh. Mrs. Wheeler, Mr. Ventura, Mrs. Brady, Mrs. Slane, Mrs. Taylor Ms. Hudson, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. Tash were just a few of the good sports who got knocked off their seats! What a fun way to begin the end of the school year!
