Principal Wheeler's Weekly Update

Good Evening Lafayette Families,

I hope you had a fantastic weekend and are gearing up for an exciting month ahead. As we dive into April, let's continue to prioritize arriving on time and effort in our daily routines, especially as we review and prepare for end-of-year assessments.

For any student absences, please ensure you communicate with their teacher promptly to coordinate makeup work and support their academic progress. Attendance Notes

This week brings several significant events to our school community. First up, we have our Championship Basketball game against Hugh Mercer Elementary on Wednesday, April 3, at James Monroe High School starting at 6pm. We're looking forward to seeing you there, cheering on our team!

Additionally, we have scheduled Family/Teacher conferences for this coming Thursday, April 4, from 5pm to 7pm. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you wish to schedule a conference to discuss their current progress.

Spring pictures are also scheduled for Thursday, April 4. We look forward to seeing everyone look their best.

Don't forget to register for dinner for our LES Instructional Fun Night on Thursday, April 11, from 5pm to 6:30pm. Use the link provided below to register for dinner - remember, it's optional, and you do not have to register for the activities, only the dinner.
