Good Evening Lafayette Families,
We are down to the final nine days of school. As the school year nears its end, it's crucial to remind students about the importance of maintaining positive behavior. Excitement may be high, but our school rules remain unchanged. Following school rules is essential for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all students. Please talk to your child about staying focused and following school rules. Disruptive behavior may result in consequences, such as exclusion from Field Day.
Thank you for your support in reinforcing these expectations at home.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. We are asking everyone to wear green to school tomorrow, May 14.
The last nine days of school are full of events, so here are some important dates for you to mark and remember:
Wednesday, May 15 | PTA Meeting |
---|---|
Thursday, May 16 | 5th Grade Visit to WGMS 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony |
Friday, May 17 | High School Musical Jr. Performance at James Monroe High School |
Monday, May 20 | Field Day |

As always, we are looking forward to another productive and positive week ahead. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Your partnership is essential, and working together ensures the success of every Lafayette student.
I hope you enjoy your evening and look forward to a wonderful week ahead.
