Principal Wheeler's Weekly Update

Good Evening, Lafayette Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend, whether it was spent playing at the park or simply relaxing with family and friends—it was the perfect weather for it!

This week, we continue our activities for Bullying Prevention Month. On Wednesday, October 9, it's Jersey Day, and don’t forget about Project Connect, our spirit chain competition! Visit the table outside the cafeteria on Tuesday and Thursday to fill out a link for your grade level’s spirit chain. The grade level with the most links will win an ice cream party!

Families, mark your calendars for our Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25, from 5 to 6:30pm. If you would like to participate by decorating your trunk and handing out candy or treats, please use the SignUpGenius link below: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/805054BA8A72EA1F94-44787966-trunk

Families, I encourage you to continue to review our Lion Pride expectations with your child(ren), emphasizing what respectful behavior looks like in the classroom, cafeteria, hallways, and on the bus. Lion Pride
