Good Evening Lafayette Lions and Families,
I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful Sunday! My heart is full as we had a wonderful Movie Night on Friday, which made for a great cap to a busy week.
This week SOLs begin! Please encourage your learners to try their best! They have worked hard all year, and we know that they will do great!
Here are a few simple ways you can help your child feel confident and prepared:
🍽️ Eat a healthy breakfast – A nutritious start to the day helps students stay focused and energized.
😴 Get a good night's sleep – Rest is key to helping students do their best!
🕰️ Arrive to school on time – A calm, on-time start helps reduce test-day anxiety.
💬 Offer encouragement – Remind your child that they’ve worked hard and you’re proud of them, no matter what.
🎒 Bring glasses, water bottle, and a book – In case your student finishes early, they can read quietly while others are still testing.
Thank you for being such a supportive part of our Lafayette community—we’re cheering on our Lions as they show what they know! 🦁📚
